Hi all:
Well I've been away for a few days and never gotta chance to post about my
new
mic.
What ever my friend did, if you touch the mic base where the XLR cable
connects,
you get a humm from it.
You can only place it in a clip and leave it but if you touch it, more
humm. The
switch when off, again humm so the switch has to stay on.
The Guy said that both the mic pins and cable had to be rewired. I'm not
sure
how it sounds over the air but its fine in my headphones.
Due to its major tampering though, its probably going in the junk box and
perhaps a new Shure will be bought and the Heil CC-1 for Xmas.
