Schools and universities are using more and more multimedia in their
courses. New software makes it easier to create, and many faculty are
using it. PowerPoint has long been popular with teachers, and narrated
PowerPoint is attractive as a way to deliver lectures on the
Web. University Podcasts and Vodcasts will probably never be as popular as
MTV but educators are rushing into this medium as well.
When a new wave strikes the Internet world, the issues of accessibility for
people with disabilities usually comes as an afterthought. These Web
conferences will address this issue.
On September 11 there will be a demonstration of a new tool that helps make
narrated PowerPoint accessible with minimal effort by the PowerPoint
