Things are not quite back to normal around the house but Sandy is walking more and more and sometimes, for short distances, walking without her walker.  This week her physical therapist is going to use a walking cane and teach her some things.  Sandy used the wheelchair our friend bought us recently so I am glad we got it when we did because I will be needing it at times, too.  Sandy's physical therapist said it is looking like she will only need two more weeks of PT to be on her own but if not, he can authorize more time.  This is good because as long as he comes to our home, our insurance pays for it 100 percent.  If she goes to a PT service, it is 40 dollars per session, if you can believe that.
