> You can obtain (for a $5 dollar fee) a beautiful certificate, suitable for framing, with your call sign on it along with endorsements for each of the individual states stations you made contact with. If you are able to make contact with all 13 states by this Sunday (July 5th), you will get a special “Clean Sweep” endorsement on your certificate. If you QSL directly with any of the individual state stations, you will receive a beautiful return QSL.
>
> The 13 Colonies will have TWO sister events:
>
> • WM3PEN will participate from Philadelphia, PA, where independence was declared. The 13 Colonies certificate have a Liberty Bell added for a contact with WM3PEN. WM3PEN will be on D-STAR each evening from 6-10 PM Central Time.
>
> • B13COL will operate from Durham, England.
>
> All of these stations will be operating on all Amateur bands and using Phone, CW, and Digital Modes.
>
> Celebrate Independence Day by the Amateur Radio way by making contacts with the Thirteen Colonies special event stations. The chase for a “Clean Sweep” is a whole lot of fun!
