I am still hearing stations, but not very many of them at the moment. It
appears that the band is closing down. Has anyone had luck working many
stations? If so, from where, and to where?

I have been working into the mid west, as well as into California and the
north west. I am on 50.125 at the moment, and quite a few stations are
coming in with big signals. I have a 9 element M Square yagi up at about 80
feet, and I am running 1500 watts.

If the band opens, I hope to find some from this list on 6 meters
during the VHF contest this weekend.

The contest begins at 1800Z.

So far today, 6 has been pretty quiet, with only a few signals breaking
through briefly. But you know how a band can wake up for a contest, so
keep your fingers crossed.
