Christian,
Just a little different slant on this discussion. i owned and
enjoyed a TS2000 for several years. At the time its accessibility
was second to none. My personal issue with the transceiver was with
the quality of received signals. i wear hearing aids and the
combination of the aids and the quality of the received signals gave
everyone a somewhat washed out, difficult to understand
sound. Again, just a personal quirk with the electronics
involved. i eventually traded the radio for an Icom, lost quite a
bit of accessibility but had a receiver that sounded lots better to
me. Just my experience - the Kenwood will serve you well and I am
sure you will enjoy it.
