Jim, sorry I missed you yesterday on 147.195. I just checked out
my t m v
71 A. Menu 100 allows you to set low and high scanning
peramaters. Menu 101
allows you to set frequency steps for your v f o. With reguard
to Matt's
question, I don't know how to set an odd repeayter offset.
However, a few
weeks back, someone on the list posted that information. Perhaps
that
someone will do it again. hth. 73. Doug, N6NFF

Doug, I'm curious, what do those menu selections do for the rig?
I am listening to 147.195 if you want to call me there, Jim

Curtis, in order for your t m v 71 A to see menus 100 and 101,
your radio
must be in the v f o mode, not the m r memory recall mode. Push
the button
in the uupper left hand corner of the radio. If you hear the
voice say v f
o, you're good to go. You will then see menus 100 and 101. h t
h. Doug,

Hi all! I have the radio, but seems there is no menu 100 or 101.
One of
them is "programmable vfo" and the other is "step size."
Why are my two menus missing?
THANKS! I am creating a braille copy of the menu system with
comments as
to how to program memory channel names using the microphone, all
put
together in one place and it should be available soon!
