The Kenwood auto-offsets on 144 and 222MHZ but doesn't on 440.  This is 
do to the fact that repeaters in parts of the country use plus or minus 
offsets.  Use the function key plus the number 8 key to toggle the 
offset to the desired one on 440MHZ.
