I have been working into the mid west, as well as into California and the
north west. I am on 50.125 at the moment, and quite a few stations are
coming in with big signals. I have a 9 element M Square yagi up at about 80
feet, and I am running 1500 watts.

Subject: VHF Contest about to begin

If the band opens, I hope to find some from this list on 6 meters
during the VHF contest this weekend.

The contest begins at 1800Z.

So far today, 6 has been pretty quiet, with only a few signals breaking
through briefly. But you know how a band can wake up for a contest, so
keep your fingers crossed.
