Tom,
This is a great list. There is a lot of information here. I may not
contribute much, but I get a lot out of this list.

Gary:

Neither did I, until today.

This, to me, is one of the many valuable things about this list.

I know the topic of NOAA weather radio may seem a bit off topic to some,
but I would not have known where else to ask the question of those who use
speech screen readers like ourselves.

Gary and all:

I put NOAA Weather Radio in the tunein.com search box, and got a
page-by-page listing of something like 84 stations with streaming audio.

The disadvantage of this listing method is that you have to know the call
letters of the NOAA Weather radio stream you are looking for, and it could
be quite cumbersome to find otherwise.

However, in my case, I did happen to know the call letters I needed, and the
station was there.

In fact, the audio stream was very easily accessible after the initial
search.

So, at least now, I know there's a working alternative out there to the
older classic wunderground site.

The nice thing about the wunderground site, though, was that the stations
were very clearly listed by city and state, so you didn't have to know call
signs.

It might work if you put noaa weather radio in the search box. I haven't
tried it myself.

Ron:

I found the tunein.com wweb site with no problem, but can't find where to
access NOAA weather radio.

I see news, music, sports, talk, etc., but no reference to streaming NOAA
weather radio.

I'm obviously missing something.

Hi Tom,

If you want to find a streaming NOAA station, log onto www.tunein.com.
Tune In will stream many NOAA weather stations. I am not sure and in fact,
I doubt, that they have all of them, but you could search that site and see
what stations they have. I know they have my Buffalo, New York area and
many large cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas and Miami.
