are these wide band or narrow band fm?

My wireless listening only headset here at work is wbfm at 914.300 which is very nice on the vx5.  I wish I could do a better antenna on transmit as with the internal disk the signal drops out too much on stereo unless I am within 10 feet of transmitter.
