I had one of those and it was squirrelly as could be.  Put out spurs all over the place.  If I was going to get technology that old I'd like the Multi 2700.  It had knobs for setting the synthesizer and a tuning knob for the VFO as well.  Great stuff for that day and age.  I just never could afford one when it was the cutting edge of technology.  73
