streaming, as well as nets on Echolink and IRLP, etc. They run a week = long

begin to enjoy the sounds of hf now using radios around the world using =

Glad you have an interest in CW. Although it is a strong mode in the = =3D3D
=3D blind community, it needs help to be preserved generally.=3D3D20
I don't have any hf gear here directly, but you can sometimes practice
reception by listening to repeater IDs. You may also want to take a look =
=3D =3D3D at http://www.qsonet.com that has a very accessible virtual =
transceiver.

I got my license around 5 to 6 weeks ago. The call is KM4KRR and my name =

About my gear and experience:
So far, I've explored channelized FM for the most part. I've got a =3D =
=3D3D3D3D =3D3D =3D3D3D Kenwood TK 762G and a Kenwood TK862G. a buddy
programmed = up =3D repeaters on =3D3D =3D3D3D3D =3D3D3D both for me, with
simplex as well. = I've also been =3D playing with a =3D3D baofang =3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D uv5r, and in = addition to a slightly better =3D antenna for it,
=3D3D I've =3D3D3D3D currently got = =3D3D3D it hooked up to an antenna =3D
switch which feeds a =3D3D diplexer = =3D3D3D3D going to the =3D3D3D two
kenwoods on A and =3D the baofeng on B. there's just a = =3D3D =3D3D3D3D
folded dipole in =3D3D3D the attic right =3D now, but there's = a comet
gp3 right =3D3D here =3D3D3D3D which I cannot =3D3D3D wait to =3D try = out.
Then I can hopefully dedicate =3D3D the folded =3D3D3D3D dipole to = letting
=3D =3D3D3D me play with packet on 2m. I'm a bit =3D3D of an audio geek, =
=3D3D3D3D so I =3D have one of =3D3D3D my sends from the mixer routed to
=3D3D a box = that my good =3D3D3D3D =3D friend, Tadd =3D3D3D (KA2DEW), put
together for me. = the =3D3D box lets me plug a =3D music =3D3D3D3D
keyboard's foot =3D3D3D peddle into = it, and it has a =3D3D quarter inch to
=3D feed from =3D3D3D3D the mixer and two = microphone cables coming out
=3D3D to feed the =3D two kenwoods, =3D3D3D3D so I can = put =3D3D3D my foot
down when I wish to key =3D3D =3D up on either radio. There's = =3D3D3D3D a
switch on =3D3D3D the box for controlling =3D =3D3D which radio I want = to
speak to.
I would really love to start exploring hf as well, but I don't know = =3D3D
=3D =3D3D3D3D =3D3D3D Morse just yet so CW is out for me for now until I =
rectify that. =3D I'm =3D3D =3D3D3D3D also =3D3D3D not sure how I want to go
= about dipping my toe in the =3D water for =3D3D HF.
=3D3D3D3D =3D3D3D There are so many options!
I'm excited about software defined radio, since that aligns super well = =3D
=3D3D =3D3D3D =3D3D3D3D with my development background, and I love the idea
of combining =3D my new =3D3D =3D3D3D =3D3D3D3D passion for radio with my =
existing passion for =3D code.
