Look in the system tray, it should tell you.
Dropbox updates automatically.

Howard:

I'll try your suggestions when I get the chance here.

I'm not exactly sure which version of dropbox I have, but I think it is the
latest update that is causing this problem. I have posted this quiry to the
Jaws users list, and at least one other individual so far has reported that
the same issue has started happening to them recently as well.

I tried Alt H followed by A. to determine exactly which version of Dropbox I
have, but was unable to read it from the screen. If you know how to find
your dropbox version more effectively, please let me know.

Tom, I haven't had that problem, but look here.
You will see dropbox in your system tray.
Hit the space bar and you will see prefferences.
In the second property sheet which you get to with control-tab, you will see
sync prefferences.
I can't get that dialog to talk with window-eyes, but I think it talks
better with jaws.
Their should be an option to uncheck there for pictures.
I am using version 3.65 which is the latest dropbox version that I know of.
Good luck!!!

Subject: Off Topic: Dropbox Question

Hello, everyone.

I have an interesting problem with dropbox.

I am not sure if this is a result of some sort of update, but whenever I put
my main USB thumb drive into my computer, dropbox now starts automatically
downloading photos from that thumb drive into drop box. While this process
doesn't usually create issues for me, it really is not needed for my use of
Dropbox, and I'd like to stop the process from occurring.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks as always!
