I wonder if there is a transverter available for the Icom rigs.

The transverter converts the 2 meter band from 144.00 to 28.00 and
you can use it on a hf radio. It can transmit about 75 wats in all modes.
you hook the antenna from your (example ts590 to the transverter. and also
the relay cable from the ts590 to a pin plug on the transverter.
I think it is menu 51, then use the antenna 2 connection and it will send
100 millawats to the transverter and you can then use it on 2 meters. If
you use it with a example ts480 you run it at 5 wats, and there is an
adjustment to set the transverter to work with the ts480.
It is a pot under the transverter to set the transverter to run with 5 wats,
down to 100 millawats. This is so you don't overdrive the transverter.
There is an adjustment for the receive also.
I just got to my email, I was at Dayton and haven't got to the computer
until today.
