Hi,

I have the Yaesu FT1D C4FM HT and it does have a keypad that you can 
enter a frequency on, but absolutely no speech feedback though the keys 
do beep.  Another thing that is not good about the FT1d is that the beep 
tones do not vary as they do on the mobile FTM400DR
