Hi Kent,
The UV-82 is the most recent model from Baofeng. For many on the list, most
have used the UV-5R model. I have two of them and have no sight whatever,
so I can field program them without much difficulty. It depends on your
budget. For $30 you can give it a try before paying more for the TH-F6.

Subject: Baofeng most current model?

Hi List,

I am still looking for a handheld VHF/UHF transceiver and leaning somewhat
toward the TH-F6A.

I want to explore the Baofeng handhelds before making a decision. Does
anyone know what is the most current model for a VHF/UHF handheld?

Opinions are certainly welcome. Thanks a bunch,

Kent, KK4FFF, Clyde NC
