                              Amateur Radio Roundtable

                              It's time for Amateur Radio Roundtable, a live weekly amateur radio webcast and simulcasted shortwave program every Tuesday night at 8 PM CDT (0100 UTC Wednesday).  The show can viewed at W5KUB.com or heard on shortwave radio station, WTWW on 5085 KHz.  Tom Medlin, W5KUB is joined by co-host Ted Randall, WB8PUM, from the QSO Radio Show.
                               
                              The show covers a wide range of topics for ham radio operators, shortwave listeners, and electronic hobbyists; including balloon launches, Satellite, go-kits, emergency communications, SDR, digital modes, DXing, home brewing, and more.

                              This week’s guest will be Bill Morine, N2COP, from Wilmington, NC.  Bill is the Vice Director ar ARRL's Roanoke Division.  He was the ARRL North Carolina Section Manager from 2010 to 2014.  Bill also served on the ARRL's national Public Relations Committee for 12 years, is the 2001 recipient of ARRL's Philip J McGan award for Public Relations, and winner of the 2014 Roanoke Division Service award. 

                              Bill was first licensed in 1970 as WN1NOP while in Massachusetts. Later he became WD4NZF in Virginia, and WB2ZHS in New Jersey before being assigned N2COP in 1981. He moved to North Carolina in 1991 and kept his N2 call.    Bill is active in Boy Scouts and has served on the staff of station K2BSA at the 2001 and 2005 National Jamborees. He has helped over 2,000 Bob Scouts earn the Radio Merit Badge, and has assisted over 300 youth to earn their licenses.  Bill is a graduate of Tufts University and the Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies.  He worked for AT&T International before moving into his present profession as a financial planner.
