The almond milk in the natural food store probably has some kind of
sweetener added. You can make your own by simply placing raw almonds and
water in your blender. If it's too thick add more water, if too thin, more
almonds. That way it's also fresh, less expensive and you avoid
non-recyclable packaging. You can then strain to get the skins out, or use
blanched almonds. To blanch almonds, drop them into boiling water for a
couple of minutes, then place them in cool water, the skins should come off
easily with gentle rubbing.
I imagine you can do this with hazelnuts also.
