I most cases, the bottom 25 khz of each CW band are good hunting places.
The 40 meter big guns seem to hang out below 7.175 KHZ.
DX is around anywhere on 20 meters and up.
On 75, seems to cluster around 3.800.
In general dxing is the best reason to get the extra.
On 30 meters, look between 10.100 and 10.1010 for best results.
You will get stuff from the East Coast, that we in the Midwest don't even
hear.

Subject: Some Questions About Dx-ing

Hi, Folks. Does anyone know which portions of the major HF bands are set
aside for DX? Would like to get out there and make some DX contacts.
Thanks.--Matt, N1IBB.
