I have been pretty low-keyed about my company: Millitronics, Inc. However,
several people have written to me asking about who we are and what we do.
So, I've decided to share some limited information with all of you.

First, Millitronics, Inc. is a wholly owned, private corporation that has
specialized in searching out residential and commercial market needs that we
can fill using our knowledge of electronics. My Son heads up the technology
areas, R & D through product design and production, and I head up finance,
organizational development, and marketing. Without going into the details,
we have done a great deal of custom design work for the government, but the
mainstream focus has been developing and installing custom cell phone
repeater systems. However, we were recently approached by a major player in
the industry about a buyout deal, and we are currently in the final stages
of those negotiations; for that reason, I am bound by our standing agreement
to not reveal any of the details concerning that deal, except to say that we
will retain our corporate name. We are exploring other opportunities. Since
my Son and I are both hams, we would like to find some market niches in the
amateur radio equipment market that we can fill. This includes any devices
that are needed by hams who are blind or with low vision. Since this latter
segment is so small, whatever we do must be of interest to the broader
amateur radio market, and preferably even to the broader communications
market in order to be really profitable. We are not in business to lose
money!

We are currently in the exploratory and product development stages for
several devices that we think will be of special interest to hams who are
blind or with very limited vision. We are also open to recommendations that
you might have. Several of you have shared some ideas already, but we are
gathering all of the ideas to simply create a list of potential products.
Then, we will assess the potential for each idea, array the ideas from the
highest potential to the lowest and move forward accordingly.
