I've used the wireless door bells to help me keep my orientation when I am
out in the boat in my bay by myself. I put one of the ringer receivers on
the dock, and keep the button with me in the boat. The range is good enough
to allow me to navigate around in the bay between my dock and the two docks
on each side of mine and clear across the bay to fish the other side. We
also use them in both the lake house and our house here in the city. We set
one of the receivers to emit one chime sound for the front door and another
chime sound for the back door so we can tell whether our visitors are at the
front or the back.

Subject: Re: Door Bell

My wife and I have used a wireless doorbell in fresh snow conditions when
walking our guide dogs. The doorbell goes on a window sill outside of the
front door and the button in the pocket of the current dog walker. Once
the4 sidewalks have been cleared the house is a lot easier to find!
