I was diagnosed with celiac disease almost 9 years ago. About 6 weeks ago I broke out in an itchy rash...I had been taking a round of antibiotics (Augmentin)...which I had taken before without any issues...I started the Augmentin on Wed and was starting to itch by Friday. I have gone back to my DR as well as a dermatologist. 3 rounds of prednisone later and the rash is worse than it has been so far.

My question is for those with Dermatitis herpetiformis...is there anyone with a delayed break out with the rash?

I go back to my dermatologist on Thursday.

Also curious what you take for the rash? And your general experience with the rash and treatment.

Thanks in advance!
Lori
