We all know that GF breads don't react the same way in dishes that regular bread does. For this reason, I have stayed away from making a French Toast Casserole because I fear it just won't turn out the way I expect. Still, I'd like to give it a try for Christmas morning. Does anyone have a tried and true recipe? What bread do you use? I'm mostly interested in one I can purchase instead of baking the loaf myself, but I can do that if it's the only way. I'm looking for something I can put together the night before, if possible, and bake the next morning.
Thanks in advance and I promise to share whatever info I get in case you, too, are looking for a special breakfast for the holidays.
