I'm not sure how many different Onyx models there are. The one we have can
come either with a car kit or an antenna and preamp suitable for indoor use.
We use the remote control, and don't know all of its functions. We found a
PDF manual, and had some sighted help looking at the display and deciphering
the remote control buttons, then wrote them down in a one-page braille
layout description. So this unit is plugged into the aux input of our stereo
receiver. Above the 2 key on the keypad is a mute button you need to watch
out for. Pressing a single numbered button puts you on a channel you have
preset. The Pound key on the keypad is used to indicate that the next 1 to 3
digits are a channel number you want to go to. Anyway, I can work part of
this thing.
