My son is a cheff, and everybody are foodies.
We decided to celebrate the survival of oppressed peoples and finnished with

In the 590 software, under tools/setup, be sure  com port/USB is 
checked, then tab once to see a list of com ports 1 through 20.   If you 
see any of the numbers followed by "available, try that.   If the driver 
did install, it may be down in the teen numbers.

you can also go to  Windows add/remove programs and in the list of installed
programs, it will say "silicone laboratories", if it actually did install.

If it is there, you can uninstall it, then reinstall  and pay particular
attention at the end since it will not only tell you that it installed, 
but also say what comm port it is.   I remember JAWS read it fine, but 
you may have to search the screen if it doesn't speak it for you.

Four cups of wine?  All we get is  candy.
