Well, no matter what I did, if the ts-590 was pluged in to the computer, its
USB sound card took over, even though the computer speakers were the default
sound device.

Finally, I disabled the USB sound card, and now the computer talks.

I told both the log in window-eyes and the desktop window-eyes
configurations to use the speakers only, with no luck.

 

So the question is, will the ts-590 and computer interface be disabled in
any way, if I am not using a didgital mode?
