Hi Butch,
The Uniden BCD536HP HomePatrol Series Digital Mobile Scanner with WiFi
is a very good, top of the line scanner. I do not have one, but some
reports are that the accompanying software works reasonably well with
JAWS. The problem is the price. Ordering online, I believe it is in
the 550 dollar range. It does everything: auto program; auto search;
WIFI capable; all non encrypted digital modes including the APCO
25--which is one of the newer digital modes. Of course if the digital
mode is proprietary, nothing will read it.
