Hi Junior!

I notice this as well. I use JJRadio. I notice that, when in VFO mode for
either 2M or 70 cm, if I transfer that VFO to a memory the offset does not
carry-over. Put another way, when in a 2M or 70 cm frequency with all the
offsets, PL tone and so on properly set, sometimes these settings do not
carry-over into a memory.

I think that this is a TS-2000 bug. For whatever reason, even when only
using the rig itself without using any sort of control software, the offset
direction and offset itself do not carry-over into the memory. The problem
that this causes is that when you then select that memory, with it's offset
direction and offset being "none" and "0", this overrides the TS-2000's
defaulted offset directions and offsets for both 2M and 70 cm. Therefore,
the result is simplex. So, for a 2M and 70 cm memory, the offset direction
and offset must be appropriately set in the memory.

To fix this, in JJRadio I review the memory settings for the transferred
frequency. There, I then ensure that the correct offset direction, offset,
PL tone and so on are correct. This process works flawlessly.

I am trying to put in a 2 meter freq into the ts2000 with no joy.
I enter the freq and the tone but when I enter it into the memory it doesn't
do the 600 up.
It just stays as a simplex freq.
I have checked everything I can think of and all looks good.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
It does this on 2 meters and the 440 band also.
Thanks in advance.
