I had an LDG 1000 auto-tuner and as far as I am concerned, it was a piece of
junk. It was not only very loud, but I couldn't manage to keep it on the
air. I only used it on 75/80M, and didn't exceed 1000 watts into it. The
SWR that it was asked to tune was about 3 to 1 or less.

In any case, my experience was definitely unsatisfactory.

Hi John.

I am considering purchasing an ldg tuner.

Wondering why this happened to you.

How much power did you pump in to the tuner?

What band were you trying to tune up on when this happened?

What antenna are you using?

Thanks.

Don
