John, yes the auto repeater feature is on and I have also tried the zero
with no luck.
The freq is 147.030 one of the local repeaters.

Is the auto repeater shift turned on? What is the frequency? Hit the 0, that
will manually change the offset. I hope some of that helps. I'm not in front
of mine, we're having a blizzard so I'm stuck in the region EOC until it
ends and the roads are passable, could be a couple days.
