Thanks for checking on Alan, Ron.

Hopefully, he'll be back on here soon, so that he knows we are in there with
him.

And, hopefully, the news will be encouraging as he proceeds through the
testing and treatments.

Subject: Update on Alan

I just got off the phone with Alan, N7MIT. The medical tests
he has undergone most recently revealed what appears to be cancerous nodules
in both of his lungs. He will be undergoing biopsies in an effort to
determine what treatment is needed to fight the type of cancer he has. All
things considered, he was in reasonably good spirits and while certainly
concerned, he is hopeful for a positive outcome.
