I believe you're right. Far as I can see, accessibility diminished after XP,
and reductions have been continuous since.

CW has also been neglected in this progression. We've had an at sign in the
code now for over ten years, but the on line keyboard still is silent when I
press the at sign. Characters that are just as obscure play, so it would be
easier to promote something that is clearly keeping pace with the time.
