Junior, by tune, are you referring to the antenna tuner?  If so, with
JJRadio, just click the "tune" button, and that'll activate the tuner for
both xmit and rcv.

I'll investigate to see if the offset gets transferred to the memory as it
should.

Jim, I don't know how I did it but the problem was solved.
I guess I hit the right button or combination of buttons thanks.
Only two more questions now.
I know there is a way to tune the tx and rx at the same time I need to know
how to do that.
And what buttons to press to get the radio to select the correct side band
or correct fm.

If you have JJRadio, right past the frequency is either a blank, plus or
minus, indicating the shift.  Use the space bar to cycle through them.

Is the auto repeater shift turned on? What is the frequency? Hit the 0, that
will manually change the offset. I hope some of that helps. I'm not in front
of mine, we're having a blizzard so I'm stuck in the region EOC until it
ends and the roads are passable, could be a couple days.
