The pronounciation is bau feng.

Hi,
I have one of these radios and find it to be fairly easy to program. The =
speech output is a little bit limited there is documentation which lists =
the menus for those of us who can=E2=80=99t see and as long as you can =
get yourself that file you=E2=80=99ll have no problems.
