Hi;
Maybe its just me but I think the more difficult part of this is taking
a good picture of whatever you want to read. Things may seem straight
but a bit of misalignment may result in loosing half the page. Tried
playing with face time and supposedly looked right into the camera only
to discover that the person at the other end had to give lots of
directions to get a really good picture. Also there are more blindness
related toys out there than one can count. The trick is to focus on
what you need if income is an issue versus what you would like to play
with. I could easily afford the $99.00 for the knfb reader and try it
on my i-pod but not certain how much I would actually use it. I can't
see someone buying the latest booksense if one could get and i-pod and
knfb software. Their only advantage is that a touch screen can be
annoying sometimes more than annoying.
