Food for thought!
Saturday, March 14 is Pi Day, an occasion that rolls around every year.but one that is special this year.
Pi is what's called a mathematical constant. You may remember the number 3.14 from your high school math classes.
The first twelve digits of Pi is 3.14159265359 and since this year is 2015, Pi Day has special significance. On 3/14/15 at 9:26:53 a.m. and p.m., with the date and
time will represent the first full ten digits of Pi - seven more digits than are usually represented.
The US House of Representatives voted in 2009 to officially support the designation of March 14 as Pi Day.
