yep, you are right, I wasn't on that machine when I wrote previous 
reply, I use a speakout on the other machine.  On this one, with the 
590, I do use software speech.  Anyhow, under devices and synthesizers, 
you'll see the one you are using.  If you tab over you'll see where you 
can specify the sound card.  I recall now why I specified the realtech 
in control pannel, I use record mp3 direct cut to record baseball on 
this machine and I want it to use internal card instead of the radio. 
Anyone want to listen to the cubs on 20 meters?  hi hi.
