Mat, it was not hard setting up as I recall.  the hardest part was putting 
the anamometer/direction  and the rain bucket on the roof.  run the lines 
into the rear of your computer and the controll box and your done as I 
remember.  I think it has been 17 years since I bought it. good luck and 73.
