I got on the rig for a few minutes tonight to see what I could hear and
possibly work. I wasn't on very long, but I worked

4x4fc, Israel on 14.009 

UA0WAB, Russia on 14.010 

DL6KAI, Germany on 7.024 

YT1AA, Serbia on 7.017 

 

So, this new set-up seems to be working quite well. I am amazed at how the
loop seems to get out to all geographic areas. My impression is that it
seems to be more vertically polarized; I say that because I seem to get out
to more distant locations even better than closer ones.
