HI Gary,
If you are using JAWS, you should be able to use FSReader, the free Daisi
book reader which is bundled with the screen reader.
I have also read Bookshare books directly in Internet Explorer. Once you
unzip the book, navigate to the folder which contains the expanded contents,
locate the file with a .xml extension, and press <ENTER> (This assumes that
IE is the default program for reading .xml files on your system.) The page
will be formatted so you can use JAWS navigation keys to jump by heading,
etc.

is anyone out there using a windows 7 pc to read bookshare books?
Looking for options.
checked out the two free optins on bookshare, problematic at best.
gh player seems mighty expensive for what it is.
advice appreciated.
