The PTT still works, what more do you need? That was a known problem with
those mics. I don't remember there ever being a long term fix for it other
than get a new mic though me personally I never use DTMF tones for anything,
I don't even have them on my mobile or my TS-2000 so if you get rid of the
radio, I'm sure there are plenty of us out there who couldn't care less
about the other buttons on the mic as long as the PTT works.
