Hello, Kent. I just checked my t m v 71 A. Menu number 111 is where you find
the mic gain settings. You have three choices, so far as I can tell. They
are, Low, medium and high. The default is medium. I thought I heard from
someone, perhaps on the list here, that you could fine tune the mic settings
a bit better with the compuyter software for the t m v 71 A. I don't have
that software. I hope that I have helped you. Have a great day. Doug, N6NFF
in Sacramento, Ca.

Subject: mic gain and TM-V71A

Is there a way to change microphone gain on the TM-V71A other than adjusting
the speaker's distance to the mic? I'm using the standard MC-59 mic.

Thanks,

Kent, Clyde NC, KK4FFF
