Yup, Steve.

Don't hit windows-key, hit windows-key with the letter R simultaneously to
bring up the Run dialog. Just hitting windows key in Windows 7 brings up
the search orb where you can type in anything.

Hi, all.

I have been following this tread with interest.

I have Alt Control J set to re-activate Jaws if needed. However, on this
Windows 7 PC, I can't get the other suggestions to work.

For example, when I hit the windows key, I immediately go into the start
menu and the search box, which doesn't allow me to do the r jaws or the
Windows U command for windows narrator.

What am I missing here.

Thanks, that is what I was wondering. If no key, I'll have him do it on the
desktop so I can get speech up.
