For Clerity:
the wouxun has an SMA Male on the radio. That means the supplied antenna
has an SMA female on the antenna.
Therefore, if you wish to use an antenna with a BNC male, which all antennas
with BNC's would use, then you use what they supply, an SMA female to BNC
female adapter....that adapter will adapt from an SMA male, on the radio, to
a BNC female, which will accept the BNC male of the different antenna.
Just remember what an "adapter" does and it becomes pretty clear...also
remember the radio has an SMA male on it, not an SMA female like most ham
radio handy talkies.

I know nothing about that particular radio, but my guess is that it has a
female SMA antenna connector on it, which means that you will need to get a
male SMA to female BNC adapter to connect the antenna's coax to.

Subject: Wouxun KG-UV-3D and BNC Antenna Adaptor
Hi,
I'm planning on ordering the Wouxun KG-UV-3D radio from PowerWerx. On their
site, I see they also sell an SMA Female to BNC Female adaptor. However, my
antenna has a BNC male connection on the end. When I get the radio, can I
use the adaptor to connect the antenna to it, or do I need an SMA Female to
BNC Male adaptor?
Thanks.
Yours Sincerely,
Kelly John Sapergia
