I started red white and blue.org 17 years ago; writing the entire website by hand using the html coding which I learned from Cathy Murtha. At one time, I owned 6 domain names and had at least three sites all going at one time. For the last couple of years, and to some degree, I haven't had the enthusiasm to keep my personal site up and running. This is partly due to my hands not being as strong as they once were, my physical health not being what it once was before all my surgical procedures on my spine, and just a lack of interest. It is possible I may change to another domain name but I'd have to modify all the html used in red white and blue and I'm not currently considering that but it could happen. I was recently contacted by a retired police officer. Due to experiences in his own life, he wants to start a website that will work with other websites, and organizations, who help Fire fighters, red, Emergency Medical personnel, White, and police officers, Blue. He has been trying to find a sight that would go with that theme as a domain name when he ran across mine. Frankly, I've been thinking about letting the domain drop since it isn't a high traffic site any longer , and there is no sense in reinventing the internet wheel when so many other blind folks have put up their own fine sites. There is a lot of good information out there. I can't see trying to maintain, or reproduce, such other quality informational blind sites since a lot of other blind people are doing such a wonderful job. In short, in a few days, or weeks, RedWhiteAndBlue.ORG will be under other ownership but doing great things for amazing people who need assistance due to the stress of their job as professionals. I feel honored this former cop even asked me if I would be interested in helping them get started. So, in other words, it all has come at the right time. The change of ownership is in process so if any of you are using my site for a home page that comes up first thing, don't be surprise if you find it missing for awhile as the hand over is accomplished. Thanks to everybody who has used Red White and Blue over the years. If I come back up with another domain name and URL, I'll make that known. My other site will remain as is for now and both sites are listed below.
