Hi all

The reply from my friend who was an adjudicator says that the teams were
given a short list of five logging programs for the event, but they could
choose others provided that they could output in the prescribed manner, I.E.
adif files.
These were then sent to a central server where the scores were calculated in
real time.

My friend's team, had a problem in that they had a power supply issue
meaning that the score had to be sent in by SMS hourly throughout the
contest.

I was interest ed in the FT1000D being used. I loved mine. The only
problem with it was that the external serial interface box seemed to be
somewhat susceptible to RF.
