For those who have Kenwood Ts-480 rigs, I was doing some
rearranging in the shack and had everything unplugged. When I
hooked up my 480, I found that the little tab on the wire going
between the main body and the control head had broken off. So, I
found another RJ 11 phone wire and re-connected it. Everything
works fine but the little crappy speaker in the control head
doesn't function nor do headphones plugged into the connector
right by the plug on the control head that goes to the rig.
Wondering if anyone here has experienced that issue. The only
speaker that works which is the one I normally use anyway, is
plugged into the external speaker plug on the main body of the
rig. Jim WA6EKS
