Bob, do you know how accessible the Wouxun UV8D is? It appears to be very
similar to the Puxing PX-UV973; I read the reviews of two blind guys that
were familiar with the Puxing PX-UV973, and they both said it was the most
accessible of all the Chinese radios. It spoke significantly more of the
menu selections.

Hi,

I should mention two more things positive about the Wouxun UV8D. It has
true dual receive and it won't switch bands in the middle of a qso like the
Baofeng does if you have the sudo dual receive mode turned on. The Wouxun
will also function as a crossband repeater.
