Oh Phil,
One concern that I would have is, how much can you really trust what she
says? People say things when they are high or drunk that they don't have
the conviction to follow when they are sober
I had a brother in law who was an alcoholic. When he got drunk
he constantly talked about getting dried out and starting over again, but
when he was sober he lost the drive to follow through. Unfortunately, he
died a few years ago in a mess. I'm not at all suggesting that this
will be Gretchen's fate, I just learned from him, not to put stock into
what someone says when they are in an altered state.
